Course Overview:  

 I can't say enough about the importance of workplace ergonomics.  This course will review patient and practitioner positioning, instruments, seating and all the things in you can do in the office to reduce your risk of getting a musculoskeletal disorder. We review common injuries in the dental field, how to prevent injury, signs and symptoms of an injury and what to do if you feel pain. This course will include some strengthening and stretching examples to encourage muscle balance, flexibility and strength.

Course Objectives:

1. Know the proper positioning of you and your patient

2. Learn your risk of getting a Musculoskeletal Disorder and how to protect yourself

3. Know the steps to take if you find yourself in pain at work.
