Course Description:

In 2018 the State of Indiana passed House Bill 1116 to allow dental hygienists to

practice in facility or setting outside a dental office. This law was passed to allow better

access to dental care for the underserved population. This course outlines the

requirements for a dental hygienist to utilize this and to practice outside a normal dental

office without a dentist present.
